The Contraception Folder was created by La Ciranda with the support of Barcelona City Council. It enables teachers and health professionals to help young people expand their resources for preventing sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unwanted pregnancies, with much more personalised and meaningful support for students.

The Contraception Folder is one of 39 specialised materials in the Educational Kit Celebrate Sexuality for secondary education and is the main material used in the 4th year Secondary Education workshop on Reproductive Rights that we offer in classrooms: https://laciranda.com/tallers-aules/tallers-a-educacio-secundaria/

Currently, the Educational Kit Celebrate Sexuality  for secondary schools is available at the Barcelona Provincial Council, Mataró Town Council, and the La Garrotxa Association of Municipalities, and is on its way to Reus Town Council.

We hope that it will soon be available in all municipalities in Catalonia so that teaching and health professionals can offer specialised resources for quality, comprehensive, age-appropriate affective and sexual education starting in secondary school.
